Health Plan Alliance adds Wakely Consulting Group, LLC to its Group Purchasing Organization

Health Plan Alliance, the nation’s leading organization for provider-sponsored and independent health plan collaboration, announces the addition of Wakely Consulting Group, LLC to its Group Purchasing Organization (GPO). The Alliance GPO is comprised of vendors that have contracted with Health Plan Alliance to offer its members exclusive discounts, value-added services and/or additional savings.
Wakely provides a comprehensive full-service array of expert actuarial services and consulting to the medical and health care sectors. In response to CMS’ shift from RAPS to EDPS, Wakely built RAPID-M, a solution that projects risk adjusted payments and identifies discrepancies between RAPS & EDPS files. As an Alliance GPO participant, Wakely has offered Alliance members a no-cost RAPID-M diagnostic analysis of EDPS and RAPS-based risk score gaps and discounts on RAPID-M.
Wakely brings the number of Alliance GPO participating companies to 15. “These offers, available exclusively through the Alliance GPO, provide immense value to our members,” said Jaime González, Chief Financial Officer/Business Development Officer, Health Plan Alliance. “We are very pleased to count Wakely among the participants in the GPO and to have them as an Alliance programming sponsor since 2015.”
