Dr. Jennifer Brady resigns as Chief Medical Officer of Health First Health Plans, joins Carolinas Physician Alliance as the Chief Executive Officer

After 13 years of dedicated service, Dr. Jennifer Brady, has resigned from her position as Chief Medical Officer for Health First Health Plans. Dr. Brady will be joining Carolinas Physician Alliance in Charlotte, N.C. (a subsidiary of Carolinas Healthcare System) as the Chief Executive Officer. In this new role, she will serve as the visionary leading the organization with overall responsibility for all functions. Her last day with Health First will be January 20, 2017. 
 
Dr. Brady joined Health First in 2003 as a provider. In 2009, she moved to the Health Plan with the goal of moving from impacting one person at a time to impacting populations. In 2010, she became a Vice President, and in 2014 accepted the role as the Chief Medical Officer. Over the years, her responsibilities have included Medical Management, Provider Relations, Pharmacy, Quality, medical policy and was an influential part of the Health First physician team and their strategic alliance with Florida Hospital.
