Compliance Analyst

The Compliance Analyst is responsible for evaluation of regulations both state and federal, determination of the operational impact of regulations to the respective business owners, and educate affected staff. Research and respond to both state and federal inquiries and complaints submitted to regulatory and state agencies by members and providers.
Job Requirements:
• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience. • Experience of working with State filings and/or Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plan laws preferred. • Knowledge of Health Insurance operations and health care issues, including Managed Care, as well as Government Health Care program operations. • Knowledge of State and Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plan laws, regulations, policies and practices. • Experience in using Baseline Sharepoint document library. Language Skills: • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Skills: • Analytical and critical thinking skills and decision-making abilities. • Able to analyze data, identify trends, summarize information and analyze facts within the context of a regulatory compliance department; • Facilitate adherence with federal regulatory requirements governing Medicare Advantage – Prescription Drug plans. • Excellent organizational skills. • Demonstrable ability to write clearly and concisely • Assist in the formulation of federal compliance policies and procedures as assigned; • Provide information from monitoring procedures to facilitate improvement to Medicare compliance processes • Ability to support work groups and committees.
