With Alliance members looking for opportunities to streamline their administrative functions to direct more resources to member experience and care, one area of opportunity is provider credentialing.  If plans could share credentialing, it would lower costs and improve provider experience.

Due to the Alliance’s non-compete structure, Alliance member networks do not overlap.  However, if Alliance members joined with a national organization of entities that also do credentialing the potential for collaboration exists.  AAPAN is a national association of entities who all individually credential their providers. AAPAN has experience in dental and other areas in joint credentialing.  This webinar will give Alliance members an overview of the Credentialing Alliance and how health plans can leverage their collective credentialing process.

Executive stakeholders in charge of medical management, people who have responsibility for provider relations, credentialing and network management.
