Internal Audit leaders from Alliance member health plans are invited to join us for this informal discussion and roundtable call! We have two topics queued up for the group and time while we’re together to cover additional issues members of the group bring forward for discussion!

Topic 1: Health Plan Alliance Internal Auditors Benchmarking Survey Results!
We’ll present the results of our recent Internal Audit benchmarking survey. Attendees will learn about the size, structure, breadth, and experience of your fellow Alliance member internal audit departments. 

Topic 2: Meet the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors
Tammy Rice, VP of Compliance and Chief Audit Executive with Santa Fe Healthcare and the internal audit rep on behalf of Alliance member AvMed health plans, shares her experience with the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors. Like the IIA, the AHIA provides education and resources for its members, including specific education around healthcare internal audits for both provider and health plan organizations. Tammy is joining us to share information about her extensive experience with this group. A long-involved member of the AHIA, Tammy is a former board member and is a member of the Membership and Awards Committee. She is joining us to share more about the group and to answer the IA peer group’s questions. As many of you are aware, we’re actively evaluating partnership opportunities to better support our Internal Auditor peer group and are excited to learn more about this great resource!

We’ll have time for other topics and are excited to hear from all of our Internal Audit peer group members during this roundtable discussion!
