Attendance to the Medicare Advantage Strategic Bid Consortium (MASBC) for Plan Year 2024 requires a commitment from your health plan team regarding participation requirements, including faculty roles, poster submissions, and in-person event attendance. WHAT WILL WE COVER DURING THIS LEARNING SESSION?
On August 16th we wrap up our 2-part Learning Cycle 3: Disease-specific supplemental benefits. Today’s session features our Shark Tank and vendor showcase, led by the MASBC faculty from Faegre Drinker and Wakely Consulting. This extended session provides meaningful space for presentations from a panel of selected vendors offering supplemental benefit implementation support for specific disease states.  

The Shark Tank line up will focus on the following learning objectives:

  • Utilization trends observed so far from vendors implementing disease-specific supplemental benefits on the ground
  • Lessons learned and emerging best practices when it comes to implementing a benefit designed for populations with a specific chronic condition
  • Designing the benefit using behavioral economics principles with an eye to impact medical costs
