Overview

On November 16, 2017, CMS issued a proposed rule with comment period that proposes to update Medicare Advantage (MA) and the prescription drug benefit program (Part D) by promoting innovation and empowering MA and Part D sponsors with new tools to improve quality of care and provide more plan choices for MA and Part D enrollees. 

Please join us as Caron Wingerchuk, Pharm D. and Wayne A. Miller, MBA, RPh, Sr. Directors of Pharmacy Services with Gorman Health Group share an overview of the key issues outlined in the rules for Part D plans followed by open discussion among the participants to allow an opportunity for dialogue prior to the end of the comment period for the proposed rules. 

 
CMS will accept comments on the proposed rule until January 16, 2018. The proposed rule is published in the November 28, 2017, Federal Register and can be downloaded from the Federal Register at: https://www.federalregister.gov/public-inspection.
