Overview

Join your peers for an interactive discussion regarding Opioid Management strategies being implemented within the Alliance member plans. During this call, Beth Brusig, Pharm D, MBA – Clinical Pharmacy Specialist and Theresa Carpenter – Clinical Pharmacist with Sentara/Optima Health Plan will share an overview of the Virginia regulatory landscape and how it has impacted opioid management in their state including an overview of state efforts around acute and chronic use management, identification processes, the impact of these regulations on the member in addition to information about Virginia Medicaid Opioid Management Programs.

Following their presentation, we will invite you to share examples of strategies, initiatives and/or programs being implemented within your plans and states to address this problem. So, please come prepared to openly share the work that your plan is doing in this space so we can learn from one another!

Audience

Pharmacy program managers, chief medical officers and medical directors, medical management, compliance, and Medicaid & Medicare program teams. Please broadly share with others in your plan with interest in this topic.
