Data & Infrastructure Evolution Summit 2020

Event Date: 3/3/2020 - 3/6/2020

Event Overview

Health plans are looking forward, seeking to achieve an ambitious digital transformation, but this is predicated by a solid data foundation.  Today’s reality? Every health plan is working on connecting disparate systems and processes, seeking to expand from a “Core system” to an “ecosystem” of applications that make such lofty goals possible.  At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what your three-year or five-year strategic plan is … if you don’t have the infrastructure you need to get you there.

At the 2020 Data & Infrastructure Evolution Summit, Health Plan Alliance member plans come together to discuss the pains and gains we’re all experiencing on this journey.  We’ll dig into the guiding principles health plans are establishing, based on size, complexity and goals.  What architecture approaches are plans implementing, to maintain flexibility that allows for growth?  From the critical competencies like data governance best practices and vendor management to forward leaning breakthroughs like digital monitoring and artificial intelligence, leaders in IT architecture and data foundations and analytics will learn from one another: How are Alliance plans evolving their data infrastructure to support our mission-critical outcomes for patients and providers?

Who should attend

This meeting is only for Health Plan Alliance members and invited guests.

  • Chief Information Officers
  • Chief Operations Officers
  • Population health executives
  • Leaders in data analytics and clinical informatics
  • Stakeholders with responsibility for data governance and security

Top reasons to join us!

  1. Get up-to-the minute insight on requirements related to interoperability and secure data exchange from leading expert Jay Sultan.  He expands on his popular webinar series in this extended presentation on March 5.

  2. Hear from nearly a dozen Alliance health plan leaders on their technology transformation projects. They share details regarding population health strategies, IT investment pivots, clinical integration aims, and their efforts to redefine how they compete in their local markets.

  3. Explore real world approaches to risk management and data security from the legal and security perspectives: How this Alliance member manages vendors, approaches talent acquisition, and mitigates the inherent risk of a data breach.

  4. Workshop with Alliance peers on how to approach the 360 degree view of the member.  Featuring Alliance member case studies, this workshop will use implementation stories from the real world to tease out challenges associated with CRM implementation and integration, as well as the gains health plans are realizing.

  5. Speak candidly during a closed, Alliance member-only session on Friday morning. We’ll present an executive summary of our health plan technology survey results and health plan attendees will dig into the themes together.
