Senior Director, New Sales

Directs, implements, and evaluates activities which produce fully insured and self-funded commercial membership growth for GHP through sales of GHP products and services. Responsible for the hiring, training, development and supervision of the commercial sales team. Responsible for establishing annual membership budget projections, Account Executive sales quotas, measuring results and managing the commercial sales team, both small group and large group sales, fully insured and self-funded.
Works under the general direction of the Vice President – Sales, actively participating in departmental budgeting and forecasting, short-term and long-term strategic planning, sales incentive plan design and implementation, and participation and interaction with Geisinger leadership across multiple regions and functional areas.
Performs duties to support the goals and objectives of Geisinger and the goals of Geisinger Health Plan, reduce cost, improve quality and improve the member experience.


Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science required; MBA or MHA preferred.
Ten plus years' experience in sales and/or marketing of health services, health insurance, or managed care required.
At least seven years' experience as a Director or Sales Manager, or in an equivalent or higher position required.
