Manager-Population Health Risk Adjustment

As the IU Health Population Health Risk Adjustment Manager, you will be developing, coordinating, and collaborating with other stakeholders as you execute various strategies and tactics to improve the accuracy of the risk scores of IU Health's various lines of business (including Medicare Advantage, Commercial Small Group, and NextGen ACO). You will be accountable for the successful and timely submission of risk adjustment data to governing agencies, and the compliance of IU Health to applicable statutory requirements. With access to EMR, provider billing, claims, and health exchange data in a vast data warehouse environment, you will have the building blocks necessary for innovation and thought leadership. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial drive, experience with risk adjustment, and be passionate about solving challenging problems.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
• Bachelor's Degree required. Masters preferred.
• Requires 5-7 years of relevant management experience.
• Requires working knowledge of HCC, CPT-4, ICD and HCPC coding. CPC certification preferred.
• Requires strategic planning or process improvement experience.
• Requires a high level of interpersonal; problem-solving; and analytical skills.
• Requires the ability to plan and manage the utilization of resources.
• Requires the ability to promote teamwork and build effective relationships.
