Compliance Officer

Samaritan Health Services in Corvallis Oregon is conducting a search for a Compliance Officer for Samaritan Health Plans. As a member of senior management, you’ll have principal authority and responsibility for the development, implementation, oversight and evaluation of all aspects of the Health Plans Compliance Program. Candidates with Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC or equivalent) are strongly preferred.

Samaritan Health Plans operates a portfolio of health plan products under several different legal structures: InterCommunity Health Plans, Inc. (IHN) is designated as a regional Coordinated Care Organization (CCO) for Medicaid beneficiaries; Samaritan Health Plans, Inc. offers Medicare Advantage, Commercial Large Group, and Commercial Large Group PPO and EPO plans; SHP is also the third-party administrator for Samaritan Health Services’ self-funded employee health benefit plan. As part of an Integrated Delivery System, Samaritan Health Plans is strategically and operationally aligned with Samaritan Health Services’ mission.

Corvallis is located in the beautiful Willamette Valley of Oregon which has unlimited outdoor recreational opportunities, easy access to the Oregon Coast and Cascade Mountain range, world class wineries, and is home to a PAC-12 University (Oregon State University).

What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
-Five (5) years business experience in a health insurance environment required.
-Four (4) years experience in Medicare, Pharmacy Benefit Management, Compliance, Operations, or Product Management required. Compliance experience preferred.
-Three (3) years leadership experience required.
-Experience working with Part D Prescription Drug or Medicare Advantage Programs required.
-Current Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC or equivalent) required within two (2) years of hire.
-Previous auditing and data analysis experience preferred.
