Knowledgeable human resource content expert that provides strategic leadership for the Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Benefits functions throughout the Company. Originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, accountability, retention, and ongoing development of a superior workforce. Develops and administers programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company. Helps develop training for new team members around human resource policies. The HR Manager also has oversight of the facility's operations.
Major Work Activities
Builds relationships with leaders at all levels and leads through influence and collaboration to develop appropriate HR policy and practices, and to ensure HR policy and practices comply with the law and with our mission and values. Partners with all leaders to develop an environment of employee engagement needed to achieve company goals and performance. Manage annual employee survey process and develops action plans and goals based on survey results. Proactively scans the workplace environment and identifies workplace issues that impact employee performance and advises leaders on strategies to resolve these issues. Partners with Compliance to ensure leaders and employees are trained and informed of changes in policies and subsequent required changes in their behavior. Consistently seeks out best practices in employee relations and recruitment to ensure the company is well positioned for performance and growth. Responsible for recruitment channels and efforts, including career fairs, Indeed, and the human resources career page. Identifies other recruitment mechanisms to ensure the placement of top talent Provides suggestions and feedback to leaders to ensure integration of HR practice across the organization to optimize the achievement of company goals and objectives. Responsible for managing the annual performance review process, new hire performance onboarding, and making recommendations for improvements Works collaboratively with the leaders and employees of the company to develop valued benefits (compensation, health, retirement, etc.) and help foster a culture of caring and compliance. Identifies outcomes to assess the effectiveness of HR functions. Ensures the collection and analysis of data to demonstrate performance on these outcomes. Communicates metrics regularly to Leadership and proactively initiates changes to optimize performance and improvement outcomes. Leads staff assigned to the HR department; provides guidance and mentoring of staff, and builds effective teams (both internally and with vendors) to achieve established goals and within established budgets Demonstrates the ability to lead and influence others positively to achieve desired goals of HTA Continually seeks professional development through training, certifications, and participation in local HR organizations, etc. Oversees facilities and physical security Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field or seven (7)+ years equivalent work experience.
Required Licensure/Certification
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification

Required Experience
Seven (7) or more years of progressive human resources experience Experience working with vendors, including contract development and establishing service level performance agreements Experience implementing new policies, procedures, and initiatives Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of human resource vendors
Decision-Making/Judgment Problem Solving/Analysis Communication Creativity/Innovation High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions consistent with business objectives and strategy. Expert in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and SharePoint site development Preferred Education
Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field or an M.B.A.
Preferred Licensure/Certification
Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred
Preferred Experience
Experience working in a healthcare setting (e.g. insurance, provider practice, facility) Experience working with regulatory agencies (CMS) Experience leading/ coordinating initiatives Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
