Health Plan Alliance Announces Addition of Pareto Intelligence’s Medicare Advantage Market Intelligence Tool to its Group Purchasing Organization

A long-time preferred business sponsor of the Alliance, Pareto will now offer a custom version of its Pareto Spotlight solution exclusive to Alliance member health plans through the Alliance Group Purchasing Organization (GPO).


IRVING, Texas, October 21, 2019—The Health Plan Alliance (Alliance), a national organization for provider-sponsored and independently-owned health plan collaboration, today announced an exclusive GPO contract with Pareto Intelligence (Pareto), a healthcare analytics, technology and advisory solutions company, to offer its Pareto Spotlight solution to Alliance member health plans. 

With all the sources of publicly available and third-party market data in healthcare, it can be time consuming and administratively burdensome to aggregate and analyze the right information to make strategic decisions. Pareto Spotlight applies advanced analytics to over 300 disparate third-party datasets and benchmarks for the Medicare Advantage (MA) market annually to generate a holistic view of performance and the competitive landscape at the national, state and regional level (by county). This tool saves organizations significant time and effort, provides meaningful insights, and allows health plans to build data-driven product strategies.

Through this partnership with the Health Plan Alliance, Pareto will offer its Spotlight tool at a discounted rate to all Alliance members looking to grow and improve performance in MA. Alliance users will also receive a custom module in the Spotlight tool with additional insights, analytics and trends specific to Alliance member health plans, driving greater collaboration amongst member organizations.
