Health Plan Alliance Announces Agreement with Uno Health to Seamlessly Enroll Individuals Into High-Impact Social Programs and Unlock Millions For Plans and Their Members

IRVING, Texas, December 10, 2021 – The Health Plan Alliance (Alliance) and Uno Health are excited to announce an agreement that supports Alliance member health plans with member enrollment in high-impact social programs.
Uno Health is a tech-enabled service that enrolls Medicare members into many of the state and federal financial programs they're eligible for–including Medicaid, MSP, LIS, SNAP, utility assistance, and Lifeline–unlocking thousands of dollars for vulnerable Medicare members. The extra cash leads to improved health outcomes and savings for all, and a subset of programs drive risk adjustment and plan revenue improvement.
Uno’s engagement specialists use their enrollment platform to quickly and easily identify qualified programs for individuals, streamlining applications and required documentation via a consolidated process. This dramatically reduces the administrative burden of enrollment, and creates a delightful experience for members.
The partnership will allow Alliance member plans to take advantage of Uno Health’s expertise in identifying, engaging, and enrolling members who qualify for the comprehensive set of supported programs, to deliver a win-win service to their members.
