The Health Plan Alliance is pleased to announce a new Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) contract with Cognizant and its TriZetto Solutions, now available to all Alliance members. This contract offers preferred pricing and access to a broad suite of tools designed to support operational efficiency, clinical improvement, and financial sustainability.

“This GPO agreement represents a strategic expansion of our long-standing relationship with Cognizant,” said Joe Lastinger, President of the Health Plan Alliance. “It equips our members with trusted, scalable solutions that help them compete more effectively in a fast-changing healthcare environment.”

Cognizant has supported Alliance member health plans for more than a decade and currently works with about 40% of the membership. Through the GPO, all members can now access enhanced offerings across key operational areas, including:

  • Core Administration
  • Optimization Software Products
  • Provider Reimbursement
  • Care Management
  • Government & Quality Programs
  • Connected Health (cost transparency, interoperability, prior authorization)
  • TriZetto Trading Partner Solutions
  • Robotic Process Automation

“This GPO offering is a focused way for us to deliver even greater value to provider-sponsored plans,” said Diana Benli, VP & Chief Product Officer, TriZetto Solutions at Cognizant. “We're committed to helping Alliance members streamline operations, meet regulatory demands, and improve both provider and member experiences.”
