John Gorman comments on the ACA repeal & replace bill

On March 6, the House Ways & Means and Energy & Commerce committees released their draft legislation to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Titled the “American Health Care Act,” the bill would most significantly repeal a majority of the ACA’s taxes, repeal the Medicaid expansion, and replace the ACA’s advance tax credits with newly structured tax credits. 
 
The release of the bill quickly gained criticism from both Republicans and Democrats and will likely face changes.
