MASBC PY 2024 Kick off Call

Event Date: 6/28/2022

Event Overview

Tuesday, 6/28/2022
10:30 AM CT – 11:30 AM CT (60 minutes)

The Alliance is kicking off this year’s consortium focused on Medicare Advantage Strategic Bid development! Formerly focused specifically on MA supplemental benefits, this year’s MASBC provides 5 months of focused curriculum designed to support your MA strategic growth and quality outcomes goals, with particular emphasis on your MA bid design. Join Alliance COO and MASBC project leader Kristin Rodriguez for our kick-off and informational call June 28th. You’ll learn how the MASBC is structured, what participation commitments your team is asked to make, and have an opportunity to influence our learning objectives this year. This call is open to all Alliance members and program sponsors interested in taking part in this year’s MASBC.fo

The MASBC is back for its 4th year and the 2022 curriculum features some exciting changes.  In addition to broadening our curriculum’s scope, we’re also introducing new session formats.  The MASBC curriculum is available to ALL member health plans of the Health Plan Alliance at no additional cost – it’s included in your organization’s annual membership dues.  But session attendees are required to complete specific participation requirements in order to gain access to program content.  Member-led sharing is what makes this program so powerful, and all participants are required to engage with program development through specific assignments throughout the 5-month curriculum.  Today’s call will review those requirements.

In addition, we’ll also use the time together to define our learning objectives.  We’ll use live polling and Q&A to gain audience input into sub-content themes and desired areas of focus for our learning labs and plan-led discussion sessions.  Join us not only to learn what to expect from the MASBC curriculum this year, but also to influence its areas of focus!
