Nora Kelly has more than 20 years of finance experience, primarily serving healthcare clients. As a leader with Kaufman Hall’s Strategic and Financial Planning, and Partnerships, Mergers and Acquisitions practices, she advises healthcare leaders nationwide on strategic financial planning, capital allocation, debt-related financial management, and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to Kaufman Hall, Nora worked for a middle-market private equity firm, where she sourced, structured, and monitored equity investments for healthcare clients across a range of service lines. Her previous experience also includes working for an investment bank focused on restructuring and distressed mergers and acquisitions. Nora is a frequent speaker at healthcare industry conferences and events on topics such as physician partnership approaches, financial planning, and industry trends. She holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia University.

In this session, Nora will synthesize her firm’s comprehensive analysis of industry-wide data and trends, and she will lead an exploration of the current challenges such as staffing shortages, skyrocketing labor costs, continuing supply chain disruptions, inflation, rising interest rates, and volatile markets pressuring both revenue and expenses. Where are the opportunities created by these volatile market forces – and which players stand ready to make the most of them? As the payer market rapidly evolves, service and solution providers’ role in their ecosystem will shift as well. The Health Plan Alliance is member-owned and member-led. Our organization’s shareholders and partners serve on our governing board and subcommittees, and they provide oversight and support to the Alliance leadership team as we set the strategic direction.
