The 2027 CMS Advance Notice proposes to exclude diagnosis information from unlinked chart review records in risk score calculations. This would make in-home assessments and retrospective risk adjustment solutions much less valuable. Prospective risk adjustment solutions allow Medicare Advantage plans to maximize capture of risk adjustable conditions in a compliant manner.
