CMS announced a proposed rule in February, 2019 for Interoperability and Patient Access. This rule introduces new policies that will expand access to health information and improve seamless exchange of data in healthcare. It touches on all aspects of healthcare from patients and providers to payers and beyond. What do the technology requirements and standards outlined in the rule mean for health plans? Are you ready? This call provides an opportunity for Alliance member health plans to discuss the implications of the proposed rule and the underlying challenges.
