Participants on the webinar will provide feedback and guidance during the formative stage of a potential Alliance-wide Medical Cost and Utilization Benchmarking project. The project is in partnership with Milliman and will use Medicare Advantage data that is calibrated for risk score, geography, and benefit design. The project, if pursued, will launch during the summer 2019. Milliman was selected to partner on the project because 22 Alliance MA plans use their HCG groups ans/or Medinsight, which will simplify data collection.

If the project moves forward plans will:

Receive reports with observed variances among participants
Discuss the practices, plan and benefit differences and other differences that account for variations.
Identify initiatives that have potential to achieve better results

Audience

Everyone with an interest is welcome to join the call, The call is specifically designed for:

Chief Medical Officers and Medical Directors
Financial executives and managers
Data analytics executives and managers
