What was once considered an altruistic effort toward employee health, workplace well-being is now recognized as a practice that not only helps employees thrive, but also leads to increased engagement, productivity and job satisfaction. With more and more companies investing in their employees' mental health, it's critical to ensure that EAP services such as telemedicine, yoga, and other preventative interventions are being utilized to foster well-being. This presentation will highlight how the principals of human-centered design can help businesses promote workplace well-being and meet ever-evolving needs of their employees. In a case study format, Grit Digital Health will provide an overview of the research, design and ongoing evaluation of a platform that is designed to remove barriers of employees seeking mental health and well-being resources to help organizations thrive. This session will help you:

  • Understand how human-centered design (HCD) can encourage help-seeking behavior and reduce stigma in the workplace
  • Understand how payers, providers and employers can promote holistic well-being through creative communication
  • Understand the importance of adopting a comprehensive approach to promote help-seeking behaviors for mental well-being

Audience

Leaders in digital healthcare, quality, behavioral health management, member experience, human resources, and healthcare innovation should attend this session.  Also those in IT-related roles including decision-support systems will have an interest in this solution.
