Engage in real-time, face-to-face conversations on your own schedule with Braindate Everyday

This new Alliance tool provides Alliance health plan members access to an exclusive Alliance-member-only Braindate Everyday platform. Braindate Everyday provides a space where you can engage in live dialog about topics that are important to you, crowdsource knowledge on business challenges and share your own experiences. It’s a solution that helps people learn from one another and build lasting relationships. Use the Braindate platform to host or join discussions about topics that matter to you.

You can expect continued formal Alliance webinars on key issues; however, sometimes you need to connect with your Alliance peers very quickly on specific topics and breaking news—and that is when Braindate is most valuable.

Why join Braindate? Here's what a few Alliance members shared they love about Braindate.

"Braindate is a very valuable platform that has allowed me to connect with other risk adjustment professionals in the Health Plan Alliance network.  I’ve had the opportunity to discuss everything from provider education efforts to in-home assessment program strategies. Braindate’s small group format results in more in-depth discussion, promotes a collaborative atmosphere, and allows you to build better relationships with your HPA peers."

"Braindate is a great way to connect with folks in the industry for a more relaxed conversation around everyday topics."

Deborah Curry
Director, Risk Adjustment & Recoveries

"I'm so grateful for Braindate. I've attended several sessions so far, and hosted a couple of my own, and found them all incredibly helpful.  It's been wonderful to connect with peers and partners across the industry to have open, thoughtful discussions.  In some cases, I've learned some fantastic new information or ideas.  In others, I learned I wasn't alone with some hurdle or issue.  And always, I met with some great people working in my field.  This has had wonderful returns on a small investment of my time. Thank you for making this forum available!"

Director, Risk Adjustment

Braindate FAQs

In addition to these FAQs, here are some other resources to help you get started:

What is the difference between the Alliance discussion forums and Braindate Everyday?

Braindate Everyday is a platform for coordinating live collaboration on your schedule. There are small-group (up to 8 people) or 1:1 options available for scheduling.

How do I move a conversation from the discussion forum to Braindate?

Braindate is great option if you would like to schedule 1:1 conversations, a small-group conversation (8 people), or a couple small-group conversations. If demand exceeds this style of conversation, then it might be best to "vote for a webinar" on the discussion forum thread. An Alliance staff member can coordinate a larger group call.

If you haven't already, scroll up to the top of this page and click the button to create a login.

Click on the create a topic button and follow the steps:

  1. Create your topic. This could be the title of the discussion forum thread.
  2. Add details about why you chose the topic. You could put "Moving this topic from the discussion forum to Braindate" and include a link to the discussion forum thread.
  3. Choose the type of session: Small-group (8 people) OR 1:1.
  4. Add keywords relating to the topic and choose a day/time that works best for you.

Click on your topic in the Braindate marketplace. This will open your Braindate page. Copy the URL. Head back to the discussion forum and reply to the thread letting everyone know to join your scheduled Braindate and paste the link. If you scheduled a small-group Braindate and more than eight people are interested in participating, you can schedule more than one Braindate on the same topic, creating multiple opportunities for the group to chat.
