HIE Integration Developer

Samaritan Health Services is currently recruiting a HIE Integration Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing and testing data integration processes to support the Regional Health Information Collaborative (RHIC). Working with other members of the Health Information Exchange (HIE) team to manage technical designs and data integration implementation in compliance with business requirements and data integration best practices.

Requirements/Preferences:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics and/or Industrial Engineering or equivalent related experience required.
• Five (5) years Business or Information Systems experience required.
• Five (5) years development experience required.
• Experience and/or training in messaging protocols HL7v2, HL7v3, SOAP, REST, and ODBC required.
• Experience and/or training in one of the following programming/development languages required.
a) Object Script or VB Script (Cache Object Script preferred).
b) Java or C#, SOAP, XML, HTML, HTTP/HTTPS, Web Service, or WSDL.
• Experience with InterSystems Cache’s database management system and/or the Ensemble integration platform preferred.
