Vendor Overview

Description of Services: Spring Street Exchange (SSX) is a consultancy that was founded with the mission to help make healthcare right. As an organization we have a double bottom line, which means we measure success not just on the financial sustainability of the firm, but also on the impact of our work in improving healthcare. The leaders of SSX have spent their careers in the industry, witnessing both the best of what humans have to offer, and also some of the systemic challenges and dysfunction that have plagued the healthcare system. We believe the challenges are not beyond fixing, and that supporting healthcare leaders and organizations in this change is both an honor and our calling.

We help organizations to act strategically and move the needle toward improving healthcare. SSX focuses on a number of vital areas including:

Strategy and Transformation: SSX helps clients to evolve so they can stay relevant and provide the best possible care and value to patients and members. Projects in the strategy practice include enterprise-level strategy development and implementation, strategic and scenario planning, opportunity analyses, and new product development.

Social Determinants of Health: We offer assessments to measure SDOH progression and opportunity. SSX partners with clients to draft SDOH strategies and roadmaps. We are adept at helping organizations to procure data and services, as well as implement SDOH programs and assess their impact. We also offer educational workshops and visioning exercises to help achieve alignment around goals for an SDOH footprint.

Executive Leadership and Technical Expertise: As healthcare careerists, over the years we have developed relationships with executives and healthcare leaders that are truly exceptional in their understanding of the nuance and complexity of healthcare and also in their ability to get things done. We retain these leaders in our Spring Street Select service offering to serve in temporary, advisory, and part-time roles as executives, coaches, and leaders of strategic initiatives.

Market Insights and Communications: Our Market Insights team is continually monitoring the healthcare, policy, and business landscape to remain connected to trends, forecasts, and changes in the industry. This team prepares ‘Data Packs’ and market analyses for client projects, scenario planning events and workshops, and other market and communication needs.
