This session will provide an in-depth perspective on how medical care has changed over the last few years with an increased focus on telemedicine across multiple disciplines, most notably behavioral health. Healthcare Fraud Shield will walk through how telemedicine has impacted the ability to ensure proper billing and coding. In addition, the session will highlight various telemedicine schemes and how best to detect and prevent telemedicine fraud, waste, and abuse.
