Many Health Plan Alliance members are working on value-based payment (VBP) strategies across multiple product lines and are at various stages of maturity. During this webinar, Dr. Laurie Gianturco, CMO of Health New England will share an overview of the approach HNE has used to implement a value based contracting strategy for PHOs/ACOs in their network that can be used with Commercial or Medicare Advantage contracts.

She will review both the framework, internal committee structure and commercial model developed along with the approaches used to successfully negotiate value based arrangements with their largest PHO. She will also share an overview of some of the key challenges and barriers experienced along their journey in moving from a shared savings to a risk model with quality targets.
