Contracts-Credentialing Coord

We are currently recruiting for a Contracts-Credentialing Coordinator who will be responsible for maintaining the health plan database of contracted and non-contracted providers and monitoring their contract status, assisting Contracts and Credentialing Supervisor to ensure operational standards within the Provider Services Department are met, providing support to the Provider Services Department and acting as a subject matter expert for the organization of the provider data stored in the health plan database and for provider credentialing and contracting requirements.

Requirements/Preferences:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of college preparation in a health related field or two (2) years’ experience in a health related field required.
• Experience and/or training in the following required:
a) Developing professional written correspondence.
b) Collecting, analyzing and displaying statistical reports by computerized technology.
c) Project coordination.
d) Computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point, virtual learning environments and web based communication tools.
e) Mathematical calculations and basic statistics.
• Experience and/or training in the following preferred:
a) Provider network management.
b) FACETS, Crystal and MS Excel.
