Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst supports IU Health Plans (Insurance), Population Health and Community Health Companies with month end close, financial analysis, planning, and reporting. This team member will participate in preparing journal entries for close, budgets for input into Oracle, reporting for month end review, and administrative analysis for department leaders. This position partners with leaders to investigate variances, understand financial results and develop working relationships. Individuals with an interest in developing improvements to existing process will excel in this position.

Experience and Qualifications:
*Three+ years of relevant financial and operational analysis experience with some experience in Health insurance industry, specifically Medicare and Commercial lines of business
*Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
*In-depth knowledge of GAAP; CPA or CMA a plus
*Analytical experience working with complex data sets
*Ability to prioritize work and be self-driven in a fast-paced environment
*Proficient in Microsoft Office products with advanced Excel and SmartView preferred
