Alliance members share: How other regional and provider-sponsored entities are approaching supplemental benefits

Event Date: 3/23/2021

Event Overview

Tuesday, 3/23/2021
10:30 AM CT – 12:00 PM CT (90 minutes)

We’re up to our necks with MA bid development work, and the Alliance is hosting a 4-part webinar series to dig into the decisions MA plan leadership teams are wrestling with right now. This four part series explores the following:

Mar 2nd: Future-proofing your MA bid for Stars and MLR needs

Mar 9th: The Power of Personalization: Using Market and Consumer data in benefit design and member engagement strategies

Mar 16th: Evaluating how you measure up: The core competencies needed to administer non-clinical interventions that support clinical outcomes

Mar 23rd: Alliance members share: How other regional and provider-sponsored entities are approaching supplemental benefits

Our final session on March 23rd welcomes to the stage a panel of Alliance members actively working on their MA bid right now! We couple their real-world experiences with perspectives from our colleagues from Faegre Drinker and Wakely Consulting, who have just led a 6-month learning collaborative with Alliance members focused on supplemental benefits.  We dig into the strategic considerations Alliance members are working through in their local markets, as well as the limiting factors that make some innovations harder to pull off than others.  Together, we'll explore:

  • What the industry at large is now calling table stakes benefits, and how Alliance members are measuring up to the standard
  • The unique challenges regional players face when it comes to competing effectively in MA – and the unique strengths we can leverage in our bids!
  • Considerations Alliance members have to work through when it comes to implementing target benefits
  • How virtual care is fitting in to the big picture as we continue moving through the pandemic
  • Consider the data story and methodologies necessary to attach cost-offsets for benefits in your plan bids

Audience

Medicare Advantage leaders with overall responsibility for your MA LOB strategy and growth, and the team directly involved in the MA bid design process.  In addition, leaders of your Stars programs and risk adjustment teams will also find this webinar useful.
